Haha I like where your priorities are, looks like a new house.  Instead of getting all the other necessary work done you make certain to get those wall hangers up first, nice!  I would have done the same.

You hit the nail on the head, we were even living in the house yet and I had the mounts up.  I need to take some updated pictures now that its done, and that all the mounts are up, I am lucky to have and understanding wife, plus its nice since two of the bears up are hers.

Here are a few of our mounts. Some of you may question why we bothered to mount them as none are what you would consider spectacular. But for us they serve as a reminder of our hunting adventures. I am fortunate to have a family that enjoys these as much as I do. (I mounted these myself)

My life size black bear mount and my sons first Mule Deer. The bear was a small 150 lb. boar.

It sounds like it's time to get a new gun.

Hunting Cowboy, glad you made it over to this site it is a great one.  I am the same way, the size of the critter doesnt matter to me, if I feel like mounting I will, it allows you to relieve the memories of the hunt everytime you see them.  By the way we just got back from Idaho elk hunting Jeremy and I both killed 5 points and Jeremys dad got a cow.  Pretty good season so far, good luck on your special tag hunt.  James
